 Artist: David Rico I Am Me ~ Linda L. Dowd ~ I have been baptized into the Anglican, Evangelical and Catholic churches. Gradually, over the years, my own unique theology has evolved. I now walk a Spiritual, rather than the ‘Religious Path', and it feels as though I have come home. There is a tremendous sense of wholeness, comfort and joy with this new way of living. I am at one with Nature and with all that is around me. I no longer fear death ~ or life. I have a sense of inner peace, purpose and belonging. I am not alone. I am loved. I am unique and I am special. I am a part of All Creation ~ A part of all that was, all that is, and a part of all that will be. ~ I am me. “We are borne of star dust, and to the stars we shall one day return.” ~ Linda L. Dowd |

We are all "loaners".  All that is around us is on loan to us for a small time, just like we are on loan to all around us, that we may interact, become good caretakers, and perhaps leave the world in a little better shape than when we first came into it...on loan.Thanks for this, Linda. I feel closer to God than I ever have before ~ and I spent a lifetime in church ~ churches!  All the major religions believe in a Supreme Being and in my mind, there is no right or wrong one. Linda, it has taken me a long, long time to find this path. I am so happy now and even though Hon and I differ, we seem to make it work. That is why my poetry is so important to me.
