Words Sown

These words are sown
with winds and blown
in far and near
your human ear.
Now yours they find
meadow of the mind
Will seek some room
to wax and bloom.

Words sown certainly can have an impact but I find most people these days prefer talking to listening.

Words  once uttered cannot be retrieved.  So it behooves us to weight them carefully before broadcasting. Thank you for opening my mind.  martyjo

I agree with Martyjo! Once words are spoken, they can't be taken back.
