Bottled up emotions pass through my brittle cerebrum,
I contemplate the deed that must be done,
I can determine my fateful outcome
Which seems all too familiar…

Do you remember those hero’s in films that just keep on going?
Through all the horror they have to endure they still continue towards their goal
Seeing through the immense pain to a euphoria beyond anything imaginable

That would be my attachment to you,
To forever be there in a world with love all around,
To be exceptional to you,
Is my dying wish

Is there something more?
A mysterious force that writes destiny thousands of years before the events unfold,
With the North Star dealing so soothingly with death,
While flickering, so beautifully, and cruelly…

Do people meet because of this destiny?
An eternal place of greeting,
Is this how people love?
Is this what ‘really’ happens?

Is this how two people meet?
Has it been written in the stars?
Is love planned so intricately?
Do we all have a purpose?

The unknown answers to these questions hang on my thoughts like a splinter in my brain,
Trying to establish the meaning for my existence,
To save broken glass and forgotten dreams,
To keep the killer demon within, and alone…

You have addressed many questions I believe every human being has questioned...and done with great passion and brutal honesty.

Hero's in films are just that...in reality...I believe the real hero is each of us in our own being....to realize a great love within us...and to leave this place a little better then when we first found it...
If love finds us in another human being along the way, that is a fringe benefit...and responsibility to treat that other person's heart with great care...

We receive, what we give, and if we give love and care to others, it will be returned to us...perhaps not in the person we would like, but in the end, we realize, that each and every person who has touched our lives in a positive way, has helped our purpose, for the great hero in the very small and mundane events that carve our personalities...

Is there something more?
A mysterious force that writes destiny thousands of years before the events unfold,
With the North Star dealing so soothingly with death,
While flickering, so beautifully, and cruelly…

out of all the cruel flickers eventually comes greatness, it is how we deal with these events that make a difference.

It is either in people to love, or it is not...love is also awareness, fidelity to self, respect for self....if one does not possess that, one cannot give it.

Yes indeed, we each have a significant purpose...even our meetings in here, can precisely change a person's outlook on life...and one harsh word against another can change that soul in a negative way, or visa versa.

I like to save my broken dreams forever, so that when something marvelous happens, it reminds me of how completely fortunate I am...even the smallest things, like say a smile from a stranger, or if someone holds a door open for me...the smallest positive things my friend are love.

Sorry for the book, but this, my first read of the morning, moved me to tears....why, because it reminds me how truly exotic, bright, surreal, real, kind, & complimenting life has been to me.  Thank you

Wow, to tears? I never thought my poems had such an impact like that, but i guess it takes different forms in different people.

Thankyou for the great feedback, always nice to be appreciated
