Beau Lieu {Beautiful Place}

For there was a place in your heart
such a “beautiful place” to be
This loving place, the place to see
If only blindness did not
stand upon centre stage

For then the truth would be open
as to a door more than ajar
So wrong, yet so right
so wonderful, yet so kind

Opposition and frustration
that quest by name
Where the last was first
and there was no lasting shame

Beautiful place, beautiful heart
where there was heaven and earth apart
So who created love, that feeling of amour
because in your heart was this
beautiful place to adore
