Tinting Echoes with Rose

Were she to share with you
a sound

and she would

you would know it as a resonance
some feeling creeping through your tips
of toes and fingers
until it encompassed with more than
a little warmth, your backbone ~

and if she were to color it

and she would

you would first sense it as a blush
that shimmied into some scarlet dance
until it became some color of passion,
so choose your tone      carefully

because it is fleshed by blush
and can only be seen by the sun
of your eyes; for it dwells deep
in some dark shadows of love…

and she wonders if you ever perceive an
echo of scent, how it came to you
on some winged moment of greater need

she even wonders if you recognized
whether the whole of her was
girl or woman, or a mixture of
must need

and later,
after the contented moment

after you walked away,
did you wonder
if she made soft sounds of
come, again, soon?

She did.

Deca,

You...sheesh...I guess I am supposed to say
something....perhaps I might just sit and
daydream,  how is that?

sometimes you happen on a poem
and you are so drawn into it
the world is quiet
while you live in it...

come near Decaflame
passion burns most brightly there
intensifying
all of the five known senses
giving rise to fabled sixth
~*~
see the faintest blush
caused initially by heat
ever deepening
resonating deep within
profound reverberation
~*~
this is not the end
resounding future awaits
demanding encore
replicating love’s echo
amplifying pinnacle

Fool, said my Muse to me, look in thy heart and write.

Your caring is so manifest
Your spirit so complete
I'd love to phrase such thoughts replete
But I'd be tripping over metric feet!

Ahh Deca, your unique voice thrills and thrills.  KJ

Through rubble and trouble and dark of night
The yawn of a dawn will hasten the light
