(Just a "little something" I do to see what I can come up with)

Poets … my friends … poets!

I’m straying beyond the pale by going down to Chinatown where untouchable twilight nights and a soldier of love are listening to the sounds the angels make but getting from here to there needs one more prayer before the awakening.

It’s a magical journey in this season of reality amidst the falling Universe and my perspective that speaks to me like voices in the autumn wood but there is no control when light breaks on the heart, the eyes, crying, “Come to me”.

Can you hear me embracing life and painting the roses red in my fantasy re-write of lackluster dreams?  It is a worthy dream of once more before away and gone.

Look in my mirror without meaning to be beautiful today for loves sweet sorrow has an appetite for joy on the long road taken all the way to nowhere.  But better to have a weekend at Baker Lane for meditation and peace thinking of us and not two virgins in a cage unruly and unobtainable until joy comes.

A butcher showed me a way to write a poem to you from a body part and it was a memorable moment in time when I asked for a leg up if you please.  Oh, just white dwarf philosophy on a precancerous cell night at Daddy’s table when I was thirsty but we were like daughters of kind not delight entwined.

Just shut up if you want the truth about Tania!  She saw a girl reflected in the eyes of a June bug and this twinkle from a smiler like one warm heart on the way to the vineyard waiting for a new member.  There would be an introduction into the whatever on feast day if heaven could put the Eh in the Bee Cee but only when cat’s away and not standing on a wooden box in dayshirt lucidity saying, “I’m the man at the altar – dirty money accepted” .

Shivers I’m still here sharing between the lines - my addiction of choice – the ultimate high but if my heart could cry it would be poetry’s saving grace because sometimes a pit bull saga and haiku to my dog are contrary to my love and the hard truth in the day after.

Being dead – you?  That would be the day!  Come lust for understanding and no dying ivy – please!

That’s as good as I can do now.
Wishing you sweet dreams.

Thank you all so much for reading and, Marge, I just know that no matter what is in heaven it will be beautiful as we ourselves will be!

Delightful ensemble of pipster pennings! I recognized most of them! A heap of reading, appreciation, and creativity went into the writing of this fascinating and entertaining read!

Thanks, Linda!  It's just a quick  write when creativity is at a low ebb but I enjoy seeing how it all comes together.

I used to do these when I knew everybody and everybody knew me.  You do it well!
