There is some talk to listen to,
Some voices unheard to hear,
And to bear witness to things that dwindle,
And disappear like the breeze in your hair.

Now I am a tune,
A tune that you hear everyday;
In the rustle of leaves,
In a traffic jam,
Or the printer in your office,
Or the keyboard tapping away.
Whilst you neglect me, in your ears, I constantly play.

In the quite of your home, when you're alone
Trying to make sense of your day,
And while you wonder how much of me
You've thrown away,
Its me that very same moment,
In my room, alone,
Trying to make sense of my day;
While I wonder how much of you
I've drawn today.

I can picture you each in your rooms thinking and wondering about the other. A very vivid and wistful write.

What a picture.  Something I believe we all think about.  Is right here in your words.  I really enjoyed this.  Thanks for sharing.

A clever and imaginative poem and a pleasure to read.
