Wednesday, August 16, 2006:

Why should I have to suffer
and compromise
my emotions
because of your mood.

Can it ever be a time,
when I can just
let my emotion
slide free.
Without having to worry about
getting in trouble for how I feel.

Would it be possible
for you to understand,
how the pain is...
How close we once were
and now you come at me like this...

I can remember the time,
when you were down and upset...
Who was there?
Me...
And I'll never forget,
what you said to me:
*I don't know what I'd do without you*
That's what you said,
and I began to cry.
Because you were upset,
and I hate to see you that way
because
I
love
you
so much.
I still do,
but now I don't always feel
that same love
from you.

And I hate this poem.
I hate writing this poem.
Because I love you so much.
But I feel as if,
I have to write this poem.
Because I have to except the fact,
that we are growing apart.

****If only we could control emotions...  ****

If you gotta write, you, by golly, write!

Fool, said my Muse to me, look in thy heart and write.

Dear PoetAtHeart13, Wow did you let him have it!  Here is a quote for you.

Great loves, to the last,
have pulses red;
All great loves that have ever died
dropped dead.
