i worry
when i see
a buddhist monk's robe
flying in the wind
from a fist fight
for that act
  should never be

and it does worry me

and yet
as quickly as the fistacuffs began
they ended
each side
   regained composure

and in that
there is a lesson perhaps
that should let me regain
my own composure,
to not be so worried afterall

for if in the heat of the moment
they can fight for only a moment
and then find another way

ironically
it might still be
a good day
for a walk
in a Peace march

Don't
worry, that is

Fool, said my Muse to me, look in thy heart and write.

I've never walked in a Peace march, but I expect when feelings get heated even pacifists let go a bit.  But I think that would really get my attention- the Buddhist monk's robe flying as he fights.
