Dragons still Live

A dragon lives my cellar floor
I feel his fire hear his roar
He’s looking for the door upstairs
He’d sink teeth in my affairs

My door is shut to his insist
No matter how the roars persist
He is the Hyde that stays inside
Swears he’s Bonny but I’m not Clyde

I feel we all have dragons stow
Deep inside and far below
And often feel their heat and roar
Their presence there beneath the floor

Perhaps their there and meant to be
An opposite that we can see
How else would we, to know the case
To know the feeling of good grace

But dragon care is chore indeed
For once let loose will not recede

Smart man that you are...

I knew you weren't Clyde, too!

They do, indeed, exist.  Else what would would we modern knights have to fight

Fool, said my Muse to me, look in thy heart and write.

  What's the problem?
Fire in your furnace is kinda neat.
Besides, that cute Randy Dragon
Well, he's just so darn sweet.

Catch that dragon
Just let him loose
It could be worse
Up here - it's moose!

I expect we do all have a dragon hidden deep somewhere.  I'll let mine sleep- I'm not into putting out fires.

Well, I think I shall start calling him (Her?) a dragon now.  That will be much more fun than "demon".
I believe you have touched your dragon's nose with this.
Loved it!
