the complications of dreamery butter
spread on the half toasted awakening
like pausing to breathe between
languid comma's between comas

you unraveled my jeans with your eyes
and clacked the metal zippers
like snap candy on your teeth
addiction to the superficial perhaps

while kneading the core of me
and pricking your palms
on the softness of my brittality
soothing me with your salve saliva

and didn't I mention about the scars
just being other erogenous zones
with androgynous applicability
for that certain someone taking the time

to pry into the reopening of my favorite wounds

ha ha!

"dreamery butter", so good, as is "applicability". Tasty.

'half toasted awakening' and 'dreamery butter' --what good images you sprinkled through here.

LOVE your word play and imagery  - damn I LOVE this!
I think that you're one of the most talented and creative poets I've ever read - just don't let it go to your head too much now
Your so clever, you must have been a woman in a past life

"like pausing to breathe "

breathe hell...
who can breathe and read this
at the same time

I agree with Melissa
you had to be a woman

You remind me favorably of another poet
who twisted stories into favorite repasts

and left the reader
wanting
more.

Yes...

he had a gift for flight
of fancy, himself.

Well done, Sir.
