Future Spring

14 August 2006

Another time to think of you
and those prayers made good
Of the many years, and lonely nights
to hope and pray what could

A left handed rite
a happiness to endure
For was this love
a feeling God made pure

Counting the past
but awaiting future spring
The returning, a place to stand together
this landing were you and I will sing

Another time, reaching out
wanting you, but knowing possible
Just to know you were reality
but in bringing you closer
the question is to God, will

“And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what
is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh
intercession for the saints according to the will of God.”
Romans 8: 27 KJV

"A left handed rite

I'd like to know more about what you were trying to say with this verse

Fool, said my Muse to me, look in thy heart and write.

that is what poetry is all about, you do not know what the poet was thinking, you just enjoy and absorb the words, then take your own thoughts away with you, of what you just read
