Silence lay heavily upon the tremble
and caught the quavering sigh of
many nights shared with fireflies
and floating moons...

Time to dream of other days when
the shiver of one’s skin melded
with the giggle of one’s soul.

When the cotton ball floated
aimlessly on silk covered winds
and lodged against a faded
oak fence...awaiting a smile
that felt immense...and a tear
floated earthward on a carpet
of clouds.

Bring to my yearn the bearer
of a silhouette that one’s
grasp begs for...and then,
only then shall the waters
still upon the pond.

For a willow wept for thee.

Magnus~
The delicacy of this thought -

'When the cotton ball floated
aimlessly on silk covered winds
and lodged against a faded
oak fence...awaiting a smile
that felt immense...and a tear
floated earthward on a carpet
of clouds.'

- whimpers with just a whisper of a *sigh*~

You are word-beautiful to me~

Time to dream of other days when
the shiver of one’s skin melded
with the giggle of one’s soul.

The loss of such brings a weep... every time we realize such times belong now only to dreams.

Superb write! *S*
