Anorexic Smile

08 August 2006

Empty cold, naked
cast out because of sin
Who was insightful
where blame was mercy

Rumours and spite
Coca Cola and Lemonade
That splash of Pepsi
and a spot of first aid

Yet who would understand
the drunk who did not drink
The carpet cleaner
who was not employed

Who would feed his children
or was starvation an anorexic life
Empty cold and naked,
then was Adam not
A night time of romance,
an evening under the moon

Coca-Cola (abbreviated to “Coke”) is a carbonated cola drink, and considered the world's
most popular soft drink. The Coca-Cola Company’s headquarters is located in Atlanta,
Georgia, where the drink was first created around 1884. The Coca-Cola Company has
also introduced other soft drinks under the Coca-Cola brand name. When some drinks
marketed by the company remain unaffiliated with Coca-Cola the drink,
such as Sprite [Lemonade].

In addition, the commercial success of Coca Cola has been periodically challenged,
in particular by its main rival Pepsi-Cola.

Pepsi-Cola, more commonly called “Pepsi”, is a soft drink produced by PepsiCo.
The Pepsi-Cola brand was trademarked in 1903, although the drink was first made in
New Bern, North Carolina, USA, in 1898, by pharmacist Caleb Bradham.
Similar to Coca-Cola, its major rival, Pepsi was originally intended to cure stomach pains.
