Where does the true
spirit of man lie?
Compassionate, loving goodness,
understanding, forgiving, a
true son of God.
Soul clean and gleaming
like winter sun glare
in opaque tawny mornings.
Through daylight he sees
beauty unsurpassed, true jewels
of nature, burning hues
into his ever brightening
memory, bannishing sadness,
shining new hope into
a heart forever free.
Darkening skies of evening
dim like embers dying,
he prays and dreams
powerful love that he has
for all of Gods creatures.
