Oh my summer where did you go So many years you’d been my savior From all the bad things I’d go threw the year But now you seem distracted and distant Like a dream or a memory now in despair You used to be so happy and warm Outside playing in your very own summer glow Sitting out at night looking at the moon and stars But now you’re sitting in quiet room No drinks or friends no nights away from it all Distracted from the future that seems so scared We used to be friends but it’s gone I don’t know where And we used to swim in the ocean But the oceans gonna be too cold when I go again Its gonna be winter and you’ll be left behind So sad summer I used to love you and now your gone Pleas summer love, come back to me Come back to me and I’ll never let you go Even in the darkest winter day I’ll be warm because of your summer charm Keep your sunshine shining somewhere And I’ll go there If you’ll just let me keep having you Let me have a little fun I am the two-toed wanderer |
