the lady found
her breath was no easier to catch
when she was gone from him
than when he stood in her eye
her mind did not slip him away

the pass of a cigar
from finger to finger
tip of white Panama
tilt of almost smile
touch of finger
on neck
cheek
elbow
wavered in the sultry air

when she slept
charcoal man appeared
from the night shade
where he was taking his ease
waiting
beautiful in his glory
was Satan not an angel
in fact
the most beautiful of all angels
did he not play lovely instruments
timbrels and pipes
was he not clothed
in every precious stone
did he not bring
the smell of damp earth
patchouli
lust
to tempt

the lady prayed tears

Even though patchouli covers the smell of reefer well... The scent of sulfur will have to be gotten used to.  No amount of tears will put out the flame.   But...  I believe a few well placed drops of vanilla will have the home fires burning.   ::smiles::    enjoyed

For it was not into my ear you whispered
But into my heart..
It was not my lips you kissed
But my soul.

This truly made me taste a sigh.

"the lady found

I understand.
