5585 October Love 04 August 2006 Was there ever October love under a July moon Of days in June and August to quest Could love be in you to be one above the rest Time taken patience strained Another day your heart obtained This place where the world smiles back For this was love, finally kindled A feeling of just wanting to love and be loved If only for her, in being what love could be “Who can find a virtuous woman? for her price is far above rubies. The heart of her husband doth safely trust in her, so that he shall have no need of spoil. It is nice to see the SEA again an ocean of which to dream Like an occasion of hope this streaming upon beauty to view As if tomorrow, will make all yesterday's good And today will being spring time to that in birth of amour Some call it love others spirit to understanding Those waters we spread in His name our God in Christ to standard given Just to see the sea and watch upon each ocean wave For this was tomorrow those waters of forgiveness to drink a poet who cares |
