In a state of disrepair...

Nothing smells like teen spirt anymore
and the tambourine is dead.
Honey isn't mud
and the sun is no black hole.
Bullets aren't butterflies
and chairs aren't silver.
Nothing's faster than a cannonball
because no one wishes you were here.
Baba died in an elderly wasteland
and there's no anarchy in the UK.

That monkey's gone to heaven
and I wish I was special
and that people were strange.

The day the music died.....

Lumpy Oatmeal makes me Crazy!

So sad, such good writing.

I am kind of strange - I like peanut butter and liverwurst sandwiches (but NOT lumpy oatmeal -- that takes one from strange to crazy!).  Does that help a tiny bit?

Seriously, I love this.
