time passes quickly
then it is too late to say
what should have been said

tell her of your love
speak to him of caresses
let there be no doubt

are you devoted
has adoration its place
then proclaim your love

Fool, said my Muse to me, look in thy heart and write.

You give great advise and that goes for all kinds of love, you can't express it to someone enough.

to love and be loved
for this gift eternal thanks
to Heaven above.

ringing silver chimes
circle bands of crafted gold
precious vows are told.

Phew a true bit of wisdom, love should always be proclaimed, treat others as you feel you would desire to be treated and do we all not desire to be told, how special we are. love  can never be expressed enough i have loved my lady for thirty one years and it only gets stronger we should all make love our great discourse.

Could it be? It is the Interloper. Cool. And great wisdom too. Well done.

If tears could build a stairway and memories a lane,
I'd walk right up to heaven and bring you home again.

the mute made me remember, and this of yours, made me miss. You have written something that makes my soul ache.

Short and sweet, well, almost bittersweet. This is very good advice, if you don't talk of your true feelings, how will they ever be known?

It's caused me some grief... but I follow this advice... having learned the hard way what it is to live with words forever unheard. *S*

Great write! *S*

Sometimes we do not express our love because of the fear called rejection. But if rejection is your fate so be it.. their loss.
Do not let shyness into the boundries of your life. Let family and friends know of your love for them because life is way to short.
Your poem is a beauty.

When too far gone cries
Yet the seasons wonder why
Matters must let go

To the right be just
Trust in love which you must
Seasons must be so

Ponder this only
A bed sans a bed lonely
Yet someone will grow

~*~

Thank you for the inspire.

Wonderful write!    so true
I seldom proclaim the love I feel...
My wife is very jealous and forbids me.

Wonderful write!

a lot said here in so few words;

One could just kick themselves in hindsight
when it's too late!  Thanks for the reminder...
