Get Ready, Here I Come Kansas City calls to me louder with the passing days, overcasting the voice of fear that says I cannot change my ways. I am ripe with anticipation, rekindled by the path ahead, not holding on to what I have but to make a brand new life instead. Change is good for the heart and soul and so change is what I choose, recalling what was said of freedom... just means nothin' left to lose. My time for loss is over. I'm tired of where I'm from, so Missouri, what I say to you is "get ready, here I come!" |
