Which Nectar

I storm from cold to hot to cold
From bold to weak, from weak to bold
To joy to sad, from sad to joy
My mind can’t stay, steady employ

I vacillate in all I do
From new to old and old to new
I oscillate from side to side
In neither do I take a pride

I would a port to stay the din
A seat of thought to reign within
I would a scale to mind the tide
I would a bale to stay, abide

I’m a phantom in the air
Still searching nectar flowers bare
The good and bad my heart partakes
Perhaps it is a sad mistake

I suckle on the flowers why
This butterfly sigh’s heavy sighs

Very poignant; I especially loved the lines:

I’m a phantom in the air
Still searching nectar flowers bare

Sounds perfectly natural to me.
The butterfly...
feeding upon the nectar of the rose...
and the thistle.
::smiles::   Even upon feces...  they find rest.
::shrugs::    LOL

You oscillate in a most creative manner.  I feel oscillation envy!  I like this lots.

May the nectar that joy seeks
come from where your doth speak
and faith that He will always know
whence you come and where you go.

~ Klassy

I know this feeling you pen in this poem, too.

Klassy,
