I’m not going to write now; it’s too late
And after so many words in so many ways
It seems as if I’ve run dry for things to say
So because of this I cannot write
I will stop for a while to refine and re-find myself
I will find another muse or muses
The secret ideas that only I poses
They will be mine they will be held tightly
I will find them, but for now they are not with me
So I cannot write about beautiful things
I cannot see into peepholes of my minds eye for imagination
And I cannot see the poetic nature of the world
My pen has become dry
I have stopped pumping my crimson soon darker blood into its quill
My blood has been pumping my heart instead
I am living in the moment so my heart more needs the warmth
There is a-changing gonna come to me I think soon
When I don’t think deeply is when I change
And so to let this change occur I will not write
I will not think deep thoughts of the voids vast beauty dark
Instead I will live as so many others
I will live the days that pass like seconds, as mere days
But in the end, my understanding will ten fold be changed
And my eyes will be ever the clearer
The air will be sweeter
And my loves will compare what I feel now, to puppy love

I am the two-toed wanderer

::smiles::     enjoy !    You are an amazing young man.    Much grace is bestowed upon you.
The unfolding will be magnificent !
You remind me so much of my 16 year old son.
There is a great Light that shines from MANY of todays young.   The future is blessed.

it's ok to lay down the quill,
especially when your heart and soul need to regenerate, renew themselves in the inkwell of life's bloodflow.
When your spirit is overflowing, you'll know it's time to set your muse free again.

You seem to possess real vision. Of course, the muse isn't always something that can be silenced. Inspiration can be like a disease, it comes and goes regardless. I hope your silence doesn't last too long!

They aren't flaps; they're my face!
