Forming words, that will never be heard
Staining my lips, my call unanswered
I live my life, hidden by life's moral rights
Nothing about me will glitter or excite

Normal, caring, comfortable and nice
How wonderful it is to be so concise
Sheltered from abandonment and love
I am looked down from the mortals above

No chains bind my soul, no thorns in my side
And yet, in that chasm, I am trapped and abide
Always the wooer, but never the beau
Love and its companions will always be my foe

Reach out for a hand that will never be there
Hide it all from the publics knowing glare
Physically aroused in twilight and dark
Emotions that are felt, but never will spark

Hidden away, they say, for our own protection
We live our lives, by our own option
Fleetingly passing, a furtive glance
Never seen as a candidate for romance

View it rightly or wrongly, I will no longer plea
For I  dwell in my shell in my own moral ecstasy

The Third stanza and the last line in this really got to me.. I can't believe no one has yet commented to this. GREAT JOB!! I loved this. I'm not sure if I've read much of yours but this is great. I can't wait to read more..

This is a beautiful write, a heartbeat in words...heard, believe me, heard loud and clear. You've let the soul free in this.
Thank you so very much, for letting me know you have read some of my posts. I hope they have been worth the time and emotions spent in reading them.
Welcome to poetry in the blue.

The real beauty of Writing is your soul and emotion that goes in to crafting a jungle of words in to a terrific thing to read.

It looks like thought went in to this, and for one to not see it means they see nothing.
