Left Behind Softly the candlelight casts shadows swaying to and fro and it makes me think about my life and where I want to go I was driving earlier in the evening nowhere really, aimlessly in circles I suppose you could say wondering about you and me There's three parts to it all the good, the bad, the numb the hot, the cold, the inbetween the all, the nothing, the some Blowing the candle out just now I came to a conclusion as the smoke streams up into dark air I can't handle the confusion I am not happy with you anymore things just don't feel right I will stay for one last memory I will give you one more night then I must make my straight away break off of this ringed road you have climbed up to the top and you have, to me, bestowed the anger of a wiser mind the ache of a heart, left behind. . |

Ah, relationships can be so confusing. Hard to know if it is really time to get out. I like the symbolism with the candle and the smoke, wafting into the air. Very well written. Shenachie |

this was sad, beautiful, positive, and the realization, that you've grown up... sometimes it's so hard though, the heart cries for what we've known, even if in small sums...that good to us, was huge... its so hard, but there are a lot of people pulling for you PS. hugs to you |
