Time and love, it disappears
But not the want and coming years
Promises and wishes die
And many dreams that say goodbye

I wonder and I’d like to know
Just where does all the passion go?
With the years does it just wane?
To somehow never show again

I wonder if there’s love at all?
And just which parts you might recall?
Walking hand in hand with joy?
While finding what you’d both enjoy

Define to me what love might be
Describe to me what lovers see
For if you know, then could you share?
With all the souls that long out there

Then some may find their road and way
To finding love in everyday
I ask you, where does passion go?
And where hides love? We’d love to know

Maybe passion goes to the same place that words go if we don't use them.  I think there is some magical place that holds all of our lost dreams and wasted images.  I like this, Rick.  It's a bit sad, but very beautiful.  I really enjoy your writing.

Over embers dying, fan a small flame
sometimes diverse, sometimes the same
allow the flames to burn higher…
fan the flames, ignite your fires…

Let the old be quelled in ashes
keep the flames away from masses
tender to the tinder so well
where reds, yellows, blues surely dwell..

Ignite again that spark right there…
fan the passion, with awesome care.

Rick~
Your questioning pen is so beautiful~

I'm gonna think on this one ...
my immediate response has humor playing in my ink
but, I'll give it some time to ripen
just to see if one of my romantic muses can do justice to your questioning~

I wish I knew. If anyone finds it will they let me know where it is so I can take it back and smear it all over my man? Thank you very much!

dreamdc, if it wipes on, it washes off. It would be nice to be able to go to the chemist and get it over the counter, if we could I would, but life is not that simple I am afraid. If I find where it lives, I'll give you a buzz and we might visit together as with the many many thousands that seek as well. Love visits and leaves, but too often there is no knock at the door.
Thanks for your visit here my friend, good luck in love and life.

Sincerely
Rick
