The Shoulder Of My Comfort

I am one dot
connected to another
in a span
that space
can not separate
time makes me his
and he mine
he writes to me
on numbered days
and even in silence
he hears me
his words gently
stir my heart
and I tremble
for he stirs
my soul
he is
the poetry
of my life
for he is
the shoulder
of my comfort

just some words cut from
the diary of my heart

How did I miss this, Helen?
Where have I been?

"he is
the poetry

Oh yes! Perfect!

Pain and comfort delicately interwoven into a wind song, sweetly sung.
