Where does it go, the seconds and hours
I sit, nowhere to be going nowhere already
Waiting in solitude as my hair grows long
Believing in nothing and nothing will come
I am a wasted soul in this world am I not?
Yet no one is wasted in time or in life long
Where does it go, the love and liberality?
Anger builds on my mind with the days
I am no longer young as I used to be
Belief is all one owns and all I depend on
I have fewer days ahead than behind
Put marks on the earth so children will know me
I don’t want to die alone
Where does it go, the secrets and lies
I weep for those who believe them intently
However I still sit here laughing at fools
I do not call for the feeding they call for
Let the poison of hypocrisy not flow in my veins
But eventually all will come clean
And death will come swift for the liars
Where does it go, the humanity and peace
I once was exposed and now lost to me
Seems only children know how to be grown up
Why wars must be waged is a mystery
Why man must be angry is a travesty
Why peace must be dead is a tragedy
Lie down and sleep a wile let death stand at your door today
And feel no worries till tomorrow
Where does it go, the wise and humble
Cities took the answer first and then the money made
No more is wisdom needed in a world such as this
Where love is gone and fools do rule the earth
Reading is for the reader, a dying breed today
And no more people listen to the words one has to say
Lazy, arrogant, childish, fatsos who wither in their bed
This is the mentality of a nation of MTV zombies
Dead inside
Where does it go, the words and musings
I see one soul or speak some words to her briefly
She is one I cannot help but sink from
A voice I long to hear it does break my minds ear
For I am never ready for such high beauty heard
Her eyes I will not write of they are too beautiful
Her skin of soft white I so long for in dreams
Her hair as black as coal, the wind I envy blows it
No wonder the words and musings fade when she’s gone
Come back when I think of her or see her briefly
Where does it go, the life my life
Such journeys I do fear and long for
Not at the same time but its all the same to me
Death is the one bringer I would look for every day
Hoping not to see him yet expecting
In a rose garden at dusk in black to prune
For I am no man, but a thing to death as all things are to ideas
Let him prune, I will not be forgotten

I am the two-toed wanderer

yanno, you just get more and more profound
what a pleasure to read your thoughts
I feel much the same way
wish I had written these lines
~hugging you~
