Shadow Truth

Misty paws leave the mark of inertia
Something that I cradled, long to be released
Building up in me the soaring faith of a thousand dreams
Was it not for the goodness of the longing might I die
But no, the impetus for motion collects like dew
First becoming stream, then river, then sea
For it is the stars that lean down to siphon thought
Bending in smile, to resurrect of certainty and drive
Shape shifting my image into long legs and strong limbs
No, there is no plan that precedes or contemplates this
Only inspiration makes appeal more gracious than dawn
Lovingly, a morning whispers rise to fantasy and fate
Each articulate the purpose of a shadow truth
Uncovering the breast of admission

These are the strongest lines...

and the most meaningful...to me.

"Misty paws leave the mark of inertia

You have that wonderful way with words TD.
You did it again.
