Imprinted Upon My Heart

Sometimes I read your words
and am left held in awe,
not only of how you manage
to master your craft,
but also of how
each word wraps itself around me
   captivating me.

*~Leaving me wanting       for more.....~*

More of the beauty encapsulated
in each word as I visualize it
in my minds eye view.
More of the sudden warmth felt
when reading words from your heart.

A smile from me      escapes
when I read the joy
there    in your eyes.

*~You whisper, thoughtfuly listening, I hear.~*

You have spoken softly
and left your words     forever
imprinted upon my heart.

Dear lady gentle...

This is indeed how many of our wonderful poets visit us...with great articulation, insight, and deep resources when their muses talk...it is a wonderful imprint...and a journey that so many miss...

if only those that miss, that they could care to read and interpret...the knowing...
