The Silent Poet

Where did it go
that means to want to share
Like who gives a damn
and was there reason to care

Left alone, empty to facts
thought about tomorrow
but unable to live
The poet and their words
for others in ways freely to give

So came to an end
that chapter that did begin
Just trying to be fair
however patience grows thin

No more passing shadows
no more enchanting moments to think
So it comes down to heavenly angels
never, never another pip to the core drink
