you speak of fragments of memories,
words fragmented
unstructured,
disjointed
perhaps

yet fragments,
are like snapshots
or sketches

my heart tells me
that making the 'collage'
is worth the effort,
even when the end result
is but a fragment
of the total reality

Dali understood and painted this...
van Gogh did too, I believe

fragments,
snapshots,
sepia brushstrokes
or bold palette knife
splashes of primary colors
on Life's whitewashed board...

each
is a ray of light
beaming itself
for all who
are open
to see

Sometimes one can see the whole within the fragment.  It is there if we are open to it....yes???

It's sooo nice to see you!!!!

Oh, my goodness, Kacy, I love this, particularly the way you personalised a philosophical poem (or, I think, perhaps more accurately, you philosophised a personal conversation) and painted it into a work of art. (And thank you, thank you, thank you for Shama and Ambrosia!)

I suppose we have to search for all the fragments we can find to come as close as we can to an ever-changing whole.

I'm going to have to think about this one. Thank you.
