Levity from the Back Row of Computer School

Keyboards talk
Enter grind
Mother boards know not levity
Her circuits are hot
The parts missing
Data incomplete

Program me  where is my port?
My document is ready but won’t
comprehend the placement
Could that be me made of abbreviated words?

Frazzled    googled
Hum    grumble
Download me   upload me
Turn me off?
Your hard drive is not compatible
with my floppy

I’m ready for the simplicity
of a blank document!

Ah yes, the simplicty of a blank document. :-) A consumation devoutly to be wished. "A vacant room, looking for tennants--to scare." I'm just glad I don't have to decide whether I like to new picture or the poem better. Too close to call.

A poem's just a poet in a word.

I think we need no schooling to learn that one. I learned that one all by my little ole self.

Glad I could give a smile...and Jamie...I don't think computers have feelings...but who knows...stranger things have happened.

True enough, they're appliances ~~ click 'em on when you need 'em, click 'em off when you don't ~~ and if you want them to act differently, just install a new program. Still, I can't avoid the notion that they do have feelings, because that would explain so many of those un-planned excursions they seem to take!

Just a bump....feels like time for that. I hope that machine's still around, and acting the way you want it to.
