Vanished

I don’t write as much as I use to
I’m not exactly sure why honestly
maybe it’s because I gave up on words
or maybe they just gave up on me
the inspiration I use to have
vanished
disappearing in disappointment
its like the further you get away
from something the smaller it becomes
until it somehow is gone

just some words cut from
the diary of my heart

AhSweetOneSlick~
But ...
your words are there,
waiting to be spilled across these pages blue~
You'll chance upon them once again ...
as you are prone to do~

It happens.
Hearing it from you, I slump in my chair.
I know and share your disappointment,
but I can not give it up, even as it fails me,
else I am lost in this whirlpool.
Do not sell your pen.

I find the easiest way to find my keys is to look for something else.  Leave it alone and it will come home wagging it's tail behind it.

No, Helen...
perhaps just resting,
but never gone.

Sometimes, if you are
in a pleasant zone...
there isn't really any need
for anything else...

but you have been, will always be
a poet.

This, I know.
