dancing 'neath the moon

Caught in a writer's block I roamed
in search of my last muse, who had left home

I looked out at the corner store
They said they hadn't seen her
The store clerk gave me a weird look
Geez, he's such a weiner

I wandered while I pondered
where could she be, oh where?!
then it hit me to check Ebay
whatever "IT" is, you'll find "IT" there.

Alas, I didn't find her there
No more ideas up my sleeve
But she didn't disappear into thin air --
Oh, I know!I'll Ask Jeeves

The butler was a little stuffy
And he wasn't very helpful
I thought, "maybe I can Google her,"
But even that was doubtful

I Googled, and I Googled
and I clicked through every forum
and one day I tripped right into one
with the most fantastic poems

I read, commented, smiled and wept
As off the screen the words just leapt
The images they brought to view
were in infinite colors, in every hue

For just a bit, I abandoned my search
And in the pages my soul set sail
and I waved to an Angel of the Earth
As she swung by on a comet's tail

I basked in the glow of Midnite Sun
Where the mute had found his voice
HopeS of Sunshine filled my thoughts
And did my lonely heart rejoice!

Passing shadows and naked thoughts
Do still dance within my view
But a poet's not a poet without
a few Dark Strangers or Shadows in Blue

I found an Enchantress' fairy picking flowers,
and some dandy Grandie Girlies
who, for dad, were pouting prettily
Eyes shining with luminosity

How surprised was I to realize,
As the pages I went through
Revealed what I was searching for,
My missing muses were here with you!

If within my simple penning
Your name you do not find
It isn't that you haven't touched me
I've just run out of time!

Work says it's time to end this rhyme
One more stanza and I'm through
To the PiPsters, one and all,
Say my muses and I, "Thank YOU!"

Sheli~
How clever, clever, clever~

And not just because I know those Grandie Girlies upclose and personal~

'I found an Enchantress' fairy picking flowers,
and some dandy Grandie Girlies
who, for dad, were pouting prettily
Eyes shining with luminosity'

But ... you put us in sweet Enchantress' garden and made sure our dear Luminosity was there too~

Makes for a wonderful way to untie the ink of that muse of yours~

It appears that your muse is in full swing!

I am sure that at one time or another, dear Poet, several of us have come in to say "Thanks, Ron, for giving us Passions!"

While we had passion all along, little did we know the community of poets that we would find...

all within blue halls...

So, dear DC...thank YOU for going on the Search!

How delightful!  You are so very clever!
Well done indeed~Hugs, Nancy

For it was not into my ear you whispered
But into my heart..
It was not my lips you kissed
But my soul.

Thankies for all your kind comments, y'all have given such inspiration

For years my lamenting muse was the only one hanging around, it's sheer bliss to be able to express thoughts not born of depression for the first time in what seems like a lifetime.

So, I wrote this to thank you all for just -- being.

Much enjoyed, Sheli.  I know exactly how you feel.  I remember the first time I entered this garden of poets and the art, beauty and warm welcome I found from many, many poets who have become very good friends.  I am here till beyond the day I die.
