I found myself wrapped once again
within a tangerine dream,
the music,
a setting sun greeting midnite
glowing in a memory

the sight of your smile,
sheer delight
as we spent our final moments
crashing
into the waves
then tumbling over
the jetty boulders

tangled up in seaweed
but never in any danger,
and like a mermaid and her Neptune,
we sprinkled the sands
along the beaches at whim,
never seeing any hourglasses

but then the waves
swept us out to sea,
and I soon had to learn
to surf
solo

for soon you were only within
my tangerine dreams.

"for soon you were only within
my tangerine dreams."

Sigh... such lovely dreams Kacy.

Reading this, I started imagine myself being a dolphin, swimming along with my mate...oh, you do capture the imagination, Kacy.  Beautiful dream, sad ending....wishing you a happy one.  *smiles & hugs*......jo

Thanks, ladies. This is what happens every time I listen to Tangerine Dreams, I flash back to a tangerine sunset and a final moment I never believed would impact me for so long. Jo, I like your interpretation!

Beautiful, bittersweet...much enjoyed Kacy!
Hugs.

For it was not into my ear you whispered
But into my heart..
It was not my lips you kissed
But my soul.

I have a tangerine poem or two,
but not nearly as lovely as this!

Measuring a summers day,
I only finds it slips away to grey,
The hours, they bring me pain.

*tangerine, tangerine,
Living reflection from a dream;
I was her love, she was my queen,
And now a thousand years between.

Thinking how it used to be,
Does she still remember times like these?
To think of us again?
And I do.

************************************
kind of juiced up  your tangerine to zep's
anyhow...your tangerine is o so delectable
as she fades within the marmalade skies
