dancing 'neath the moon

0 posted 2006-07-11 08:25 AM

A TV, computer, the internet 'zoo'
A stereo, playstation and Everquest too
All give me pleasure, just something to do
To fill up my nights and sometimes my days
while I deal with insanity and endless power plays

These things don't define me, though part of my life
They just entertain me, but if you'd care to look twice
You, maybe, could see that there's much more to me
than just the girl here in our virtual reality.

I have joys and pain that sears
if you'll look close there's substance here
there's happiness and sorrow and sometimes tears
anger and rage and child-like fear

There's a store of love I cannot hide
no matter how many times I've tried
There's an evil tongue and razor sharp wit
and humor sometimes shot from the hip

There's a lover a fighter, and sometimes a whiner
An aggressive, impulsive, and reckless designer
A daughter, a princess awaiting her prince
A cousin, a sister, and often a *witch

There's a girl who feels pain like a blade through the heart
A woman who loves, even when it's not smart
a fighting spirit to withstand any test
and an imperfect mother who just does her best

A raving wench with lots of 'tude
who sometimes can be slightly rude
A gentlewoman, sweet and kind
who always, always speaks her mind

There's a hopeless romantic and sometimes a skeptic
A frazzled lunatic whose life is hectic
An independent woman and a needy little girl
A sufferer of memory loss who's always in a whirl

There's a plotter and a schemer
A manipulator and a dreamer
A therapist, a basket case
A friend to few, one full of ?grace?

Rough edged puzzle pieces leave this picture unfinished
Understanding this female is mighty rough business
Though you fit together the pieces as well as you can
I'm an incomplete masterpiece in the palm of your hand.

thankies!

I toyed with the idea of naming it "I'm schizophrenic and so am I"  lol, that's how it feels sometimes, isn't it?

glad you enjoyed!

Even rough puzzle pieces make a puzzle. Nice self analysis.
