Confessions

Confessions in an Astro-dome
Sessions on a path of cope
This circle that I sail and roam
With wooden oars the length of hope

Confessions of a neophyte
Sailing through this life of lure
Passing through both day and night
Tasting all this given tour

With water, water everywhere
And skies that change each daily scene
With clouds on clouds of colors fair
And winds that drag and sweep the preen

I visit all the ports of call
Test the best that I can be
Trading thoughts of over all
And adding all the best I see

But time has grown some heavy moss
And sapped my mind with heavy loss

But Sy..moss?..why all this time I thought you had a beard!
And your mind is as sharp as a tack.

Loved today's offering!!
& , Nancy.

For it was not into my ear you whispered
But into my heart..
It was not my lips you kissed
But my soul.

Awww, come on, Mr. T.! Where's the dirt? Is that the best that you can do in the confessions department?!? lol I thought I was going to read  you dishin' 'n spillin' yer dirty deeds! LOL

All joking aside, this truly is a remarkable write considering that your mind has been sapped with heavy loss. ~ NOT!!! Your delightfully sharp mind is a thing of beauty! ~ and an object of envy!

Loves 'n hugs,
EA

I don't think anything is wrong with your mind, Dear Seymour. I know you can sure write beautiful poetry. Of which, I thoroughly enjoy reading.

Only every other port, LOL but I'm working on it.

Neophyte indeed, sir. This is from the pen of a seasoned sailor. The moss grows on your chin... nicely too.

an oar of hope, the length of pen,
history's tales remembered when,
voyages through mornings blue
the heart of soul, the best of you
