Shattered Dreams

At times like this
i am lost and alone
struggling for space
to call my own
emotions scattered
pieces far and high
my arms just reaching
as away they fly
from me and you
and all i know
emotions scattered
from my body they flow
groundless, soundless
as i silently scream
gripping tightly
to shattered dreams
