dancing 'neath the moon

I love the way he touched me
Strong hands
caressing, whisper soft to skin
tousled tresses twisted tenderly through
Fingers
exploring familiar territory
with the wonder of a new lover
tracing the fullness of
Lips
searching out the rhythmic, thrumming
pulse of the heartbeat
pressing to the gentle curve of the
Neck
nudged playfully by a chilly nose
eliciting muted giggling and
dancing shivers down my spine

I love how he spoke to me,
stimulating my mind,
weaving with words the bonds
that bind my heart to
His
Words in your voice
falling to my ears,
the soft, whispered, sweet
nothings and everythings
lovingly muffled against sensitive
Flesh
responding to the gentle vibration
of your rumbling against it,
warmed by the murmur of heated love
Words
spoken lowly, tenderly, the phrases
punctuated with needful nibbles,
his love shining in your
Eyes
searching limpid pools of blue
for some spark of reciprocation
to find the glimmer of a
slowly dying ember of
Hope
a flickering flame
barely glowing in the eyes
he loved to gaze into
Soulfully
sighing as I write these lines
and melancholy envelopes me,
each time he evades me,
hiding behind your eyes, 'cause
I love the way he touched me.

The artist is nothing without the gift,
but the gift is nothing without work."
- Emile Zola (1840-1902)

WELCOME TO PASSIONS!
A softly sensual entrance post.
I very much enjoyed the read.

But into my heart..
It was not my lips you kissed
But my soul.

its always fun to remember the fun foolings around of the wandering hands with a partner and this describes it well

I love the way he touched you too, chaos and the way you describe it. Very sensuous.

Welcome! More please?

Sheli,

You have indeed found a Poet's home.  Not a home for just old people either.     We encourage ages from the youngest who can comprehend a computer...to the oldest who can still manage the way of their hands.  Welcome to Passions!

Please, check your email for a Very Special PiP greeting!
