sssshhhhhhhhhh

she's singing -

if you dare to call it that--

it's more like she is full of paint

and flings it from her fingertips

and out the ends of hair unkempt

as her lips curl up disgust

that she is so vulnerable

and no

she cannot ever trust

the half moons of her eyes explain

it's just about her pain

and you

are just the witness victim of

the circumstance

of this event

drawn like boils

by the salve

that y'mama once called "love"

and bliss

was fingers on the brow,

as she remembers "it"

she spits

howling like a darkling child

that gypsies had refused

she is

plucking leaves and sticks

from skin

naked in the wood...

she is

constancy of born again

wailing wailing

nailing truth

like a proclamation of

the elders

in a heathen skull

with lessons to be learned

and burned

into the eyes of innocents.

Wow Karen!  How DO you get Dark to be so Brilliant?  As most often is the case, Kate's favourite lines are mine too.  If you were to sell your pen, you would be a millionaire!

I love her!  She is truly an artist extraordinaire!   And, Ser, I love this poem about her....I hope someone sends her a copy of it; I think it would make her giggle that wonderful giggle of hers.  Brava for you.......jojo

You sure nailed her, at least the one I see and hear.  I love her K, she is all this and more, and you need to be still to take it all in, and savor her art.  Well done.

Serene One, your words must have tentacles on them because they reach out and grab a reader's attention! ~ Or perhaps they have little hooks that enable you to draw a reader in! ~ All your poetic works are captivating.

Sending you a hug of love,
Linda

your words are a monolithic spiritulism
a legacy defined by you embodied beauty

I don't know who this attributes, and thus raises the spectre of the promise of friendship...

Wonderful poetry Lady...
miss reading you whole bunches

Thank you all for being so sweet, and making feel so welcome.

I'm afraid my time is limited of late, so I appreciate your understanding.

Love to all.

she isn't the only one flinging paint from her fingertips.. I must say you just did a very good job of flinging paint from your fingertips to paint this picture and share it. Excellent read, I realize loved the imagry, and the ideas presented here.

Go to someplace else on the web and copy and paste.
