And Wednesday snuck in, sliding joyfully
over the hump even as last
Saturday night dreams were
still lingering in
Sunday’s dawn…

Wednesday didn’t mind that my mind
was still tangled in sleepovers of
the needful kind
and scents came again to remind me
of sand, and sea,

nor did she care that you cared enough
to send the very best,
even
if on Wednesday…

you never wanted to hold back
for an occasional special moment, no ~
so you snuck a slip-song in, made me laugh,
even jiggling a giggle a little,
and then more.

You reminded me of words
especially said for especial moods
coloring my eyes until they
cried hello…

     and then promised no goodbyes.

With a grin, you declared
amigo sounds
and chuckled through dawn.

Yes, you do know me.

Oh, how neat!  I like the whole tenor of this one, and the usage of language.
