Sweet Jessica Lynn
glint of sun on spun gold hair
flower child so fair
crimson blooms capture blue eyes
pure memories in making.

.

Dear Jessica Lynn
discovering nature's gifts
please touch them gently
dainty impatiens nodding
tiny fingers inching near.

.

Oh Jessica Lynn
I spy your fingers plucking
blossoms for your keep
you know I won't be angry
grandma's flower child so sweet.

OhNance~
I know two little grandie girlies that are going to be SO TICKLED to see 'their' little Jessica !!!

She is so absolutely ADORABLE ... I just want to pick her up and squeeze her~

Delaney and Landry are in Georgia for a few days, vacationing with Mom and Dad ... when they get back here ... what a delightful little treat I have to show them~

***smiles*** ... oh yeah, Grandma ... I love the sweet poetic TANKA thoughts too~

THANK YOU~

Oh my Lord!  I could gobble this one right up!    Mine are getting so big, that I miss this age.  Enjoy her while you can - they grow up WAY too fast.

Nancy Lee, she is enjoying it so much...must have a green thumb like Grandma!  She looks so darling out there  favoring the impatiens.  Can't say as I blame her...they are my favorites, too.  I love the double blossom variety most.

The poem and pictures are such precious tokens of love for Jessica.  Thank you for sharing!  ~ Karen

Thank you for sharing little Miss Jessica Lynn

Joyful Jessica appears to love beauty as does her grandmother ~ and that makes your loving each other an absolute given! Like attracts Like! ~ and Light attracts Light!

I love all of your poems so much. I really have nothing to say because I am new and I am not used to critiquing poems. I am starting to lose hope that I'll ever be a good poet. Best of luck.
