Innocence

What would a guilty
person say if you
were to take their
past away.

"Hey, things seem
different now.
Today seems to be
innocent somehow."

hmmm....

Now you've got me wondering
if I am guilty of anything...
and believe it or not, but I guess
we all are, to some extent
or another.

Your poem took a different turn with me...
and it is a mirrored hall, it is.

Well done, James.

Great one James I like the part about only being guilty if we stay in the past.

Beauty in simplicity
I enjoyed the read, thank you
