heres to the ones who smile for you to make you feel better when you are feeling down the ones who hold your hand through thick and thin heres to the ones who hold you close when it seems that you have lost everything and all of your hope is gone heres to the ones who made you stronger and taught you how to protect yourself and fend for yourself when they aren't around anymore heres to the ones who guide you and listen to you with undivided attention searching for a way to help you work out your problems heres to the ones who fight for what you believe in the ones who put thier lives on the line for you just so you can live in peace heres to your true friends the ones who will have your back when you are in trouble the ones who would die for you with no thought for themselves heres to the ones who will be with you for your entire life travelling the same great and powerful journey that you are hand in hand with you until death and afterwards always and forever heres to the ones who love you unconditionally with nothing to expect in return the ones who give you thier hearts and let you keep it and do with it as you may heres to the ones who raised you and loved you through every minute of your entire life the ones who gave you a band-aid when you cut your knee and helped you ride a bike for the first time without training wheels the ones who took you to school and sent you off, lunchbox in hand the ones who fed you healthy meals and read to you and told you stories the ones who tucked you in at night and held you when you couldnt sleep the ones who learned about the real truth in life from loving you and caring for you helping you grow into the person you are today heres to the people who cant be there for you anymore the ones you miss so much the ones who still miss you just as much looking down on you from whatever beautiful place they are now heres to you just for being the person that you are and for being so strong even when everything is going wrong for you and everyone else that you know heres to you, my friend just for being there for me ~J.K. |
