Living For Tomorrow
By Paul Wilson

He who lives for today
isn’t living at all
I live for tomorrow
the past I can’t recall

Today was tomorrow
before it was today
I was watching the clock
as time slipped away

No more wasted days
each one special to me
I’ve got things to do
places to go… sites to see

The call of adventure
keeps leading me on
Renewing my spirit
with coming of each dawn

When all my tomorrows
become yesterday
Remember I lived for
tomorrow and not today

I’ve checked the clock
of life again today
No more tomorrows for me
today I’ll fade away

I so much like this one Paul.
My father's favourite saying was,
"Today is the tomorrow you worried about yesterday"
Now as the days seemingly fly by..
I understand exactly what it means.
Your piece reminded me of it, and him, so very much.
Thank you!
Hugs~Nancy

For it was not into my ear you whispered
But into my heart..
It was not my lips you kissed
But my soul.

LeeJ...It is bit of a tounge twister. I thought of changing that stanza but thought I would see what people had to say about it.
