again
and again

we sit
at the corner
table

drinking
adventures
that taste
of yesterday

but face it
my friend,
memories
are the saliva stitches
on a freshly dead mouth;
it is the booze
that binds us now

Brilliant...!!

Don't bring me down now,
let me stay here for awhile
You know life's too short,
let me bathe here in your smile.
