In honour of CANADA DAY... July 1, 2006 Red And White Glory  No stars, nor Venus can compare to Canada, true north so fair where I am born of precious place with magic earth, exuding grace, where dreams live on to bright the day as fairies paint and angels play. O Canada, my home sweet home from thee I have no need to roam. All eyes delight from far and wide to mountains, prairies, oceans pride - the world's elite, a wonderland, I rise for thee with heart in hand where freedom rings and bluebirds sing and rainbows prance to warm the spring; God's work of art, the best of all strong maple leaf, flag standing tall. For Canada is heaven's light magnificent dear red and white!  Melissa Long-Monette Intellectually I know that Canada is no better than any other country. Emotionally I KNOW that Canada is the best country in the world! |
