Rainbow Edged

I live in still of clouded thoughts
arranged in my design
to suit my moods of comfortless
to caress these words of mine.

The power of a penny's thoughts
contentment can receive
when finding humor in each day
to form this summer's weave...

Of pleasures held-together-thoughts
each thread a seamed blue sky,
rippled with a rainbow's edge
dimpled with imply.

The layers rise in clouded thoughts,
the pain all worth the haunt,
when always in the back of mind
are captured memories' taunt.

A whisper here, a whisper there
a week away to be,
the treasures that have touched my heart
will come along with me.

A melody when eyes are closed
all dressed in colors pure,
rainbowed thoughts to share the night:
long distance dreams... secure.

M (*going on  a short vacation*)

M,
How I delight in your upbeat spirit and acknowledgement of the pain. Enjoy the trip as much as I enjoyed the read.

If tears could build a stairway and memories a lane,
I'd walk right up to heaven and bring you home again.

Thank you
came back rested but itchy as usual..if it isn't sun poisoning like last year it's those darn gnats biting me to death. There must be a secret to not getting bit besides using deet which didn't seem to work.

Do enjoy the reverie...and OFF SKINTASTIC works very well (even in Michigan woods!)
Loved the melodic tone of this write.
