The Thread

It’s always at my lowest ebb
A silver thread or spider web
Holds me like a bungee chord
To save me as I lunge oh Lord

I always dream I can’t get home
Just caught in lost where e’er I roam
No matter how I seek the light
There is no star to guide me right

The fall is like a thick impound
Without the sick of hit the ground
And sometimes even silvers thread
Cannot take away the dread

It is a feeling full of lies
With sick and sigh and self imply
Accusing me I know not what
With awe and pain I kid you not

I move through life the speed of light
And still can’t tell the left from right

Sy,
I'm pretty sure you meant the left from right. As the truth belies the line.
Another good write.

If tears could build a stairway and memories a lane,
I'd walk right up to heaven and bring you home again.
