The Thread It’s always at my lowest ebb A silver thread or spider web Holds me like a bungee chord To save me as I lunge oh Lord I always dream I can’t get home Just caught in lost where e’er I roam No matter how I seek the light There is no star to guide me right The fall is like a thick impound Without the sick of hit the ground And sometimes even silvers thread Cannot take away the dread It is a feeling full of lies With sick and sigh and self imply Accusing me I know not what With awe and pain I kid you not I move through life the speed of light And still can’t tell the left from right |
